CompareVolt is a free, bilingual comparison site for electric scooters (183 models) and e-bikes (13 models) sold in Canada.
Where the data comes from
- Manufacturer and Canadian retailer pages, cited at the bottom of every spec sheet with the date they were checked.
- AI-assisted research helps find spec sheets; a model is only published when at least 80% of the key specs are found. When two sources disagree, the page says so.
- Prices in Canadian dollars are checked every night at 9 Canadian stores (lowest in-stock price).
- Riding rules come from official sources (e.g. SAAQ, Government of Québec) and are re-checked weekly.
How we rank
Every top list follows one criterion, written at the top of the page (range, speed, weight, price…). No brand can pay to be ranked higher.
Who is behind CompareVolt
CompareVolt is made in Montréal by Glisso, the Canadian distributor of RoleyX scooters (Bond S10). RoleyX models are treated exactly like every other brand: same data, same maths, no advantage.
